Victim Witness Assistant

The 8th Judicial District Attorney Office is accepting applications for a full-time Victim Witness Assistant

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

 

This position requires some knowledge of the criminal justice system, court proceedings, and procedures within the District Attorney’s office; communication and organizational skills; ability to prepare reports and correspondence; ability to work with diverse individuals and agencies.

 

Requirements:

 

Associate degree in criminal justice, social sciences or related field or at least two (2) years’ work experience in the criminal justice system, criminal law, human services or other related field.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in criminal justice, social sciences, or related field; or four (4) years’ work experience in a related field.

 

Salary:

Based upon experience and the current District Attorney Personnel and Compensation Plan. Range of salary begins at $44,299 depending on experience.
